While on a trip to Vienna, Peter Kleist (Antonio Cantafora) discovers an ancient castle once occupied by his villainous ancestor sadist, Baron Otto Von Kleist. According to legend, the Baron was a notorious sadist who mercilessly tortured and killed any who stood in his way.
Stopping for a visit, Peter meets its current owner Herr Dortumndt (Dieter Tressler) and his lovely assistant Eva (Elke Sommer), who are supervising a project to restore the castle for the tourism trade.
Out of curiosity, Peter and Eva recite an incantation and unknowingly resurrect the ghost of the evil Baron into the world. Mysterious deaths and disappearances begin as the Baron's restless spirit uses his ancient torture devices on the castle's unsuspecting guests!
